WHY AVAYA GLOBALCONNECT LAUNCHED THE CEO FORUM FOR CUSTOMER RESPONSIVENESS

Today, the cult of Customer Responsiveness is capturing the imagination of both global and Indian companies. India has witnessed a resurgence of the Customer Responsiveness revolution, with most leading organizations working at getting closer to their users.

This growing community of enlightened businesses have been quick to appreciate the relevance of Customer Responsiveness and the vital role it is playing in making organizations successful.

Avaya GlobalConnect, was among the first few companies to explore the concept within its own set up. The company, which had been going through a transformation based on organizational restructuring, focused on how customers could be provided with a single point of interface with the company rather than go through multiple customer facing departments. Finally, it gave priority to the concept of Customer Responsiveness, which was still in a nascent, nebulous stage.

Having embarked on its Customer Responsiveness journey, Avaya GlobalConnect decided to take a pioneering step. The company looked at creating a special platform which would spur the Customer Responsiveness trend within India and give a voice and face to this innovation. The company played a critical role in conceiving and nurturing a this plank - The CEO Forum for Customer Responsiveness - which has become a valuable meeting ground for leaders of organizations with a similar mind set on the issue.

The experiences and learnings derived from the CEO Forum meetings have been encapsulated in a special book, which provides a holistic view of the movement and its implications for today’s enterprises. Through it, the CEO Forum has brought into focus the opinions of business leaders on Customer Responsiveness and the strategies they have implemented to make the concept a reality within their own organizations.

A large number of Indian companies are exceedingly proud of the work they are doing within the Customer Responsiveness domain. Each day, new entities are joining this vibrant force and lending weight to the movement.
